I want to write you a poem
a silvery flake to you
Andy Warhol
cold colours which wil ripple
films, in them Marilyn will rise smiling
drawing white, your butterflydecorations,
black of roses arising
ashes, or smoke of the opening
of the New York subway
silversmoke at nighttime
femalesilver, malesilver, silver of naked faces,
surfacesilver, silver of openings, citymoon, blind
suisidejump or smile
scysrapersilver
blackend silver of an unused electric chair
silver of resistance, resistance power
to you, Andy Warhol |

| this poem was published in The Museum of Modern Art of Andy Warhol, 1998. I wrote this poem earlier, because some writings and films by Andy Warhol helped me trough some hard times while working in a painting studio once. |
